As if you needed another healthy cafe, Joe’s coffee comes in and drops the mic. With three locations around the city, the Hungry in Dublin team decided to visit the one on Montague Street, close to St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. This one attracts customers with its elegant and charming exterior with a couple of benches leaning the wall. This is a great place to grab a coffee or lunch in Dublin.
Cozy atmosphere is found inside. Joe’s Cafe is a spacious place, however, not a lot of seats are provided so it’s an ideal place for the Dublin two workers to grab the drink and food they need to keep them going for the day. There are also plenty of products available around. Cold drinks, ready-made salads and sandwiches available next to the counter.
Joe’s Cafe is using The Barn coffee beans, which are absolutely amazing in taste. If you are a big coffee lover and go to cafes mainly for the caffeinated reason, then these coffee beans are a must try. They are served by many leading coffee shops and home brewers across the globe: From Vancouver, via New York, Paris, London, Dubai to Japan.
A few items are found on the shelves for purchase. Coffee blenders, tea pots and so on available in store. We started to see the same pattern in other coffee shops, where coffee and tea products are being found around. They may not necessarily be the store’s actual products, but it’s good to see the collaboration of companies.
Let’s talk salad, as this was the selling point of the cafe. Have you ever had such an amazingly looking one? So many colors, with fruits and vegetables combined together. And guess what they added. Sweet potatoes and blueberries together. This is no joke. And before you start to negatively think about it, it actually tastes really good. Mixed with greens, walnuts chickpeas, all served with a lemon dressing. Delicious, nutritious, unique and it’s something the Hungry in Dublin recommends you to try.
Not only a great place to grab a coffee or salad, but little protein balls as well. Joe’s Cafe is promoting healthy living with their unique food that is hard to resist. So, what to go for? Food and Coffee. You won’t regret it. Unless you like greasy, oily food then try somewhere else.
