When asked about the American food, most people say hamburgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, BBQ steaks and potato chips. You would probably have the same answer, wouldn’t you? Well, that’s true and even Wikipedia backs it up. But that ain’t all bad, we all love hamburgers and fries and some restaurants seemed to pick this food trend up and bring it to Ireland many, many years ago. But let’s talk about the present. A certain restaurant called Farmer Brown’s attracts their customers with this precise trend for food.
Located in Rathmines and on Bath Avenue, the place is cozy, offers indoor and outdoor seating. Careful! This places doesn’t understand the meaning of the word “diet”. This place is for people who eat when and whatever they want to eat, period. Water is available on each table and there are blankets on outdoor chairs as well. You’ll immediately notice the friendly customer service offered by the staff.
The food is, wait for it…. outstanding. Amazing American sized portions, that will fill up 2 Irish adults! Melted cheese, fries, burgers, tacos. All you can think of being battered, deep fried or grilled. Have you ever tried truffle fries? Farmer Brown’s is offering them and they taste just like they sound… freaking delightful.
What if your a vegetarian, you ask? Well, Farmer Brown’s is offering meals such as Falafel salad, which is truly irresistible. Mix it with half regular and half sweet potato fries and you’ve got a boost of energy. Again, this place ain’t for losing weight. Take your skinny ass some place else if you are looking for a quinoa salad with lemon dressing for your lunch in Dublin. The falafel salad has may goodies in it, such as pomegranate, corn and peppers. Sauces on top of sauces, on top of other sauces included.
Consider going for the early bird menu, Two courses for €19 or three courses for €24. The overall review is fantastic. The place leaves you with a smile on your face. The place is perfect for family and friend gatherings. SO, eat what you wanna eat at a place serving what you wanna eat.
